Timing

Mom-and-Baby sessions are contemporary portrait sessions that focus on the unique bond and aspect of early motherhood. They are designed for moms and their babies who are between 6-12 months old. As a helpful marker to know when your baby is ready, he or she should be able to sit or stand alone without any or little support. If your baby has special needs please consult with me and we can design a session to tailor your specific needs.

Consultation

Prior to your session, we will arrange for a consultation via phone or zoom to plan together how your session will flow and what shots will be captured. Consultations should be done at least a week in advance so I recommend booking your session at least 2 weeks in advance so that we have adequate time to prepare and plan.

 

Client Wardrobe

Clients are welcome to use any gown, fabric, or accessory from my client wardrobe. At this point in time, I only offer a women's and newborn wardrobe. I prefer baby's be bare with only fabric covering their diapered area to give the portrait a modern take on the renaissance-art-era. You are encouraged, however, to bring 1 or 2 outfits for your baby boy or girl that will compliment the overall style and feel of your photo shoot. I am always happy to assist in your outfit selections.

Hair & Makeup

Professional Hair & Makeup Artistry is available as an add-on. Your stylist will greet you upon your arrival and their fees will be due upon services rendered.

Reveal Session

Upon the completion of post-processing your images, you will be invited back for a personalized reveal session which will include the best 25 printed portraits from your portrait session. You'll be treated with desert and beverage.
